Placing an order takes a few simple steps.

  1. Choose the product you want and add it to your cart.

  2. Go to the checkout page.

  3. Enter your billing and delivery details.

  4. Choose your payment method.

  5. Review your order and your details.

  6. Complete your order using the button “Pay for order”.
    After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Yes. In the checkout, you can review your order and the details you entered.
If something is not correct, you can change it before you complete payment.

How do I know I am placing an order with an obligation to pay? Icon Arrow Right

The final step in the checkout makes this clear. The last button states that placing the order creates an obligation to pay. For example, it may say “Checkout” or “Pay for order”.

You can pay using the following methods:

  • iDEAL

  • Credit card (for example Visa or Mastercard)

  • PayPal

  • Klarna (pay later, where available)

  • Bancontact (commonly used in Belgium)

  • KBC/CBC (commonly used in Belgium)

We aim for fast delivery. In most cases, delivery takes 1 to 2 business days.

Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a track and trace link where available.

What happens if I am not at home during delivery? Icon Arrow Right

This depends on the carrier and the situation. In most cases, the parcel will be:

  • offered to a neighbour, or

  • taken to a pickup point, or

  • offered again at a later time.
    You will receive an update from the carrier, for example via track and trace.

Returns and right of withdrawal (statutory)

Yes. You have the statutory right of withdrawal. This means you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.

How does withdrawal work (within 14 days)? Icon Arrow Right

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, receives the product. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us with an unequivocal statement. You can do this by email or by post. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you are not required to do so.

What happens after withdrawal (refund)? Icon Arrow Right

If you withdraw from the contract, you will receive all payments you made up to that moment. This includes standard delivery costs. This does not include extra costs if you chose a delivery method other than our least expensive standard delivery option. We will refund you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we were informed of your decision to withdraw. We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you explicitly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back. Or we may wait until you provide proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return the product without undue delay. In any event, you must return it no later than 14 days after the day you informed us that you withdraw from the contract. You are on time if you send the product back before the 14-day period has expired.

The direct costs of returning the product are at your expense. This applies unless we explicitly state otherwise.

May I open the package or try the saddle? (diminished value) Icon Arrow Right

You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store. Please avoid using the product more than necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and functioning. If the product has been used more than necessary, there may be diminished value. In that case, we may charge you for the diminished value.

Warranty and service

What warranty applies to my purchase? (statutory warranty) Icon Arrow Right

All items you buy from us are covered by statutory warranty. Statutory warranty means the product must meet what you can reasonably expect. If something is not as it should be, please contact us. We will work with you to find a proper solution.

Do you offer additional warranty? Icon Arrow Right

Yes.

In addition to statutory warranty, we offer a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects caused by manufacturing faults or material defects.

Within this period, Zadelman will replace parts that show a defect, provided the defect can be shown to result from a manufacturing or material fault.

Please note that leather is a natural, wear-and-tear product. Normal wear and signs of use are not covered. With use, small surface cracks may appear. This is not a valid reason for a warranty claim. Small marks, uneven areas, or streaks in the leather may also be present. This is a natural characteristic of genuine quality leather.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by overload, intentional damage, or negligence. It also does not cover poor care, external causes, or not following the recommended use and maintenance advice.
