A common phenomenon when cycling on a leather saddle is the break-in time. This concerns the first +/- 100 kilometers you cycle on a new Zadelman® saddle. During this period the leather saddle adapts to your contours and position. This gives the saddle its unique shape, tailored to you. Just like with leather shoes, the longer you ride on the saddle, the more comfortable it feels.
Because the leather bicycle saddle adapts to the contours of your body, it is ideally suited for comfortable and pain-free cycling for long periods of time. It is important that the saddle suits your type of bicycle and cycling position. In addition, correct adjustment (height, position and angle) of the saddle affects your cycling comfort.
